About the Team


With almost 4 Lakh entrepreneurs aboard the Meesho app, we are all set to democratise internet commerce for everyone in India. Our primary responsibility, as the Strategy & Operations team, is to strategise and identify problem statements and opportunities daily. And as a Manager - Strategy & Operations, you will play a key role in helping us do what we do better.Our team functions within the business function of Meesho, and we closely work with the category marketing team and other category teams. Beyond this, we also work closely with Product, Supplier Growth, User Growth, and Fulfillment & Experience teams. We are not all work and no play – from weekly chill team calls to book reading sessions to parties, we ensure that we are a closely-knit team that works hard and parties hard. As one of the first few members of the Strategy & Ops team in the business function, you will also help build such rituals and play an intrinsic role in building the team’s culture. About the Role


As Operations Manager, you will work directly with the Program Manager and take ownership of business-critical problems. You will have the opportunity to create and improve the operating systems of the business function. On a typical day, you will be involved in driving operations, managing vendors along with a team within the org, building review systems, culture, and so on. You will identify key problems, set priorities, and come up with solutions to drive implementation in different types of projects. You will approach all the tasks we handle as a team with an ownership mindset. You will also work with stakeholders from multiple teams.

What you will do

  • Act as an owner for all your projects to drive operations and achieve excellence.
  • Engage in meetings, emails and expert calls with internal team and vendors for strategic initiatives.
  • Play a key role in framing SOPs to enable the team to work efficiently.
  • Create and structure monthly review documents to be presented to the CEO.
  • Support Business Team in problem-solving tasks and discussions.
  • Assist OKR framing by setting daily/monthly/quarterly targets for teams.
  • Research and recommend new strategies across business functions.
  • Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations across the team.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of building review systems, culture and so on.

What you will need

  • 3-5 years of work experience in operations management (e-commerce experience will be an added advantage).
  • Exceptional skills using Google Sheets, Docs, Excel, etc. for data management.
  • Proven ability to present insights and information clearly.
  • Proven leadership, organizational skills and project management skills.
  • Ability to structure and deal with ambiguous problem statements.
