As the Business Management Associate in Risk & Compliance in India (Mumbai), you will partner with the India Risk & Compliance functional leads and Business Managers to drive and influence local strategy, integration with global teams and effective roll-out of global and local initiatives.

The role of a business manager is dynamic and encompasses a wide variety of responsibilities. The team is responsible for the Controls, Reporting and Oversight of Financial / Operating metrics as well as supporting various ad-hoc / business initiatives.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with the India Risk & Compliance functional leads and Business Managers to drive and influence local strategy, integration with global teams and effective roll-out of global and local initiatives
  • Manage the day-to-day Business Management deliverables in support of the India Risk & Compliance Team and align to leadership’s key agenda items, cross organization initiatives, discussion topics, strategy and objectives.
  • Design, develop, consolidate, and present senior management materials such as: business cases, business reviews, strategic roadmaps, strategy reviews, action plans, etc.
  • Manage key deliverables of the business management functions and process including: headcount planning and tracking, local and global reporting, tracking of transformation programs, real estate planning and tracking
  • Develop and execute action plans to improve key metrics performance and deliver on globally set objectives for India
  • Liaise and partner with HR Business Partners, Control Officers, Finance, Resiliency Officers, L&D team for execution of their priorities
  • Contribute towards driving innovation, people council agenda or diversity & inclusion

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum educational qualification of an undergraduate degree in BBA, B. Com. or Engineering. MBA would be an added advantage
  • Highly adaptable interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses and key support functions, at the senior level and peer levels
  • Experience communicating to senior audiences with ability to partner across teams
  • Excellent design, presentation, and storyboard skillset with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Results oriented – takes responsibility for issues and follows through to resolution
  • Process oriented and ability to develop strategy for end to end solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Having experience of managing a program would be additional advantage
