Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer QA, your primary responsibility is to ensure the overall quality assurance of the product by implementing and adhering to best practices in automation and manual testing processes.

You will play a crucial role as part of a dedicated team, taking ownership of the software’s quality developed by the team. You will apply various agile project planning and delivery methodologies to continuously enhance productivity.

Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring comprehensive application test coverage.
  • Writing functional test cases for new enhancements.
  • Utilizing your expertise in manual software testing and indirect domain knowledge.
  • Collaborating closely with software developers, product owners, and quality assurance analysts to address reported software issues promptly.
  • Identifying and automating test cases to enhance automation coverage.
  • Executing both automation and manual test cases and documenting the test outcomes.

Educational Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, you should possess the following educational qualifications:

  • A professional degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 0-2 years of experience in software testing.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team.
