Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and Development using technologies used MarketMap (listed down in skills) for developing new products and also support existing ones
• Learn and use trending MarketMap time series database proprietary technology
• Participate in scrum and other business meetings
• Contribute in POCs and client demos
• Work along with BA for implementation and assist them in automations
• Flexible to provide on call production support on rotational basis – basic training will also be provided

Requirements:

• BE/B Tech/MCA (pertaining Programming)
• Good to have certifications in any of programming languages like Java/Python/C/C++
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Java/Python
• Good concepts in basic programming languages (C/C++/C#)
• Linux platform
• Perl/shell or any scripting language
• SQL & Good understanding of any one Database technology & architecture
• Good debugging/troubleshooting skills
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Strong in Object Oriented Design and Analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Quickly learn new technologies and use in product
• Extensive use of unit and/or regression testing
• Linux/Shell/Perl programming
• Source Control concepts and management
• Enhancing and maintain legacy products and internal tools
• Refactoring skills and willingness to determine and remove technical debt
• Experience working with bug tracking software
• Must be able to work effectively with other project team members (locally and remotely) as well as with other groups (QA, Support, Product Management)
• Good verbal and written communication skills within a technical context
• Experience working with the agile Scrum methodology
